Pre/Post-Wire Installation

In an effort to simplify our home pre-wiring services for home communication and entertainment, Padgitt's is pleased to bring you our Standard Professional Pre/Post-wire Installation (SPPI). The Padgitt's SPPI provides a convenient alternative for ensuring that all of your auxiliary service wiring needs are met without the hassle of acquiring a lengthy custom pre-wire quote for your new homes. We have designed the SPPI around the specifications of the majority of the custom homes we pre-wire today. Highlighted features include:

  • Cable, Phone, and Internet drops for every major room

  • A recessed media box including punchdown blocks and power supply

  • Wiring for any 6 zone distributed sound system

  • Wiring for one 5.1 surround sound system with remote sub location

All of these services and equipment will be provided for the low cost of $2,250 + tax. The SPPI pre-wire should typically require one day to complete, and the post wire one half day to complete.

SPPI Guidelines

The SPPI will allow a seamless pre-wire for the following:
  • New construction homes, single or two stories, of 4,000 square feet or less within a 20 mile radius of Padgitt's store location.
  • Home utilizing cable services.
  • Wire drops not to exceed the following: 12 phone; 13 cable; 8 network; 6 volume controls; and 12 distributed sound speakers.
  • Home can be pre-wired for satellite instead of cable for an additional $75.00.
  • Additional phone or cable drops may be added for $40.00 each.
  • Additional data network drops may be added for $45.00 each.
